Tanja Broere (1981) has been writing stories since her childhood, as well as having an interest in history. Only recently she started to combine these interests. Het ability for historical research led her to write stories about ordinary people who, forced by the time and place they live in, make radical choices. In her stories she writes about fictional characters in real historical situations. This results in stories that might actually have happened.
